Building a distribution is difficult. We are, however, up to this task. PKG is not finished, but it is ready for some limited testing in our dev environment. That means that some initial builds of a limited system are being done to test some features of PKG. This isn't really that big a deal, as it's really early work, and it won't result in a release or anything, but it is progress being made. At this point, the distribution is really just: Linux, busybox, musl, bash, PKG, and init. This will continue to grow a bit until a useful set of basic system tools is available in "base" and a LiveCD can be generated reliably. The point at which we can reliably generate the environment and a live medium from which an installer could be run is the point at which we will release a public alpha.
